A Letter To Our Inner Mamas

Intuitive Parenting

I don’t care whether you bottle or breastfeed your baby.

I don’t care whether you choose to use cloth, disposable or no nappies.

I don’t care whether you co-sleep or not.

I don’t care if you gave birth naturally, or via caesarian.

I don’t care if you’ve made mistakes (hell I’ve made a million in the few short years of being a mum).

What I care about is that you try.

That you listen to your inner wisdom and intuition, and parent from that place. That you parent with the utmost love and respect for your kids.

I care that you learn, from your mistakes, and take those lessons to make better decisions next time.

That you heal and release anything that no longer serves you on your journey, as a mama and guide to your children, that remains from your own childhood.

I care that you know what is best for your family.

And that you trust and honor that knowing.

And as long as you can put your hand on your heart and say with the utmost honesty and integrity that every day you are trying your utmost best.

Well that is perfect.

Because your child has chosen you.

Chosen you to be his/her mama.

Chosen you to give them the experience, lessons and opportunities for soul growth that is right for them in this lifetime.

I do not judge you.

I do not criticise you.

I respect and honor the journey that you have chosen.

And if you are here, I know you want the best for your children and family.

I know you want to be the best mama that you can.

And to do that just be you.

Wholeheartedly, raw, honest, fragile, scared, brave, beautiful – YOU

And that, in my eyes is the most beautiful treasure in the world.

For being a mama is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding roles you will ever choose.

Everyday you ride a mixture of emotions, trying to give your children the best of you, and always trying to give yourself the best of you.

Everyday, you strive to achieve that perfect balance. But is really such a thing? Or is it just the holy grail that we as mamas all strive for.

Some days you will get it. And other days you will not.

And that is ok. That is perfect for you.

You are a beautiful Divine creation of All That Is

you are made from the same energy that creates worlds.

And so are your children.

And that is magnificent.

You do not need to confirm to any ideas that society as whole holds what they believe is true.

And neither do your children.

You do not need approval from anyone.

And if you need help. This is not a sign of weakness. This is a sign of strength.

Ask for and be open to all of the help, and guidance you need.

Be you. Be whole. And just be.

Take the time you need to nourish your soul – what ever form that takes for you.

And take the time to nurture you children in wholeness of mind, body and especially soul.

Take the time to learn about the things that make you smile and rock your world.

And take the time to let your creative goddess grow and shine.

You are amazing. You are beautiful. You are magnificent.

And if you don’t believe in yourself. Believe in my belief in you.

I love you gorgeous mama soul

All my love and gratitude
